Showreel for Mid-2020: Working in Lockdown
It’s been a busy mid part to 2020, despite the setback of Coronavirus lockdown.
While many clients have pushed filming dates back and physical meetings have gone out of the window, Zoom calls and content management have been lifesavers - helping to put together editing projects, outlines for filming schedules in 2021 and a chance to work on fundamentals.
It’s also been a chance to do some pro bono community work, including this short piece for local councillors in Hastings discussing the parking charge rise across East Sussex.
While lockdown hasn’t been a blessing, it has been productive. Notably, many clients have had the bandwidth and mental space to shift from day to day administration to more direct management of special projects. That extra time and coordination with the client will hopefully pay off in the future!
